The ARISURE® Dry Spike is designed to support closed-system access to IV bags during the preparation and transfer of hazardous injectable medications. As part of the ARISURE® system, it enables controlled fluid transfer while helping maintain a closed pathway.

Intended Use: ARISURE® is a Closed System Drug Transfer Device (CSTD) that mechanically prohibits the release of drugs in vapor, aerosol, or liquid form during preparation and administration, and prevents the introduction of microbial and airborne contaminants into the drug or fluid path, allowing the system to minimize exposure of individuals, healthcare personnel, and the environment to hazardous drugs.
The Dry Spike helps clinicians access IV containers in a way that supports a closed pathway without adding unnecessary workflow complexity.

- When used with the ARISURE® Closed Male Luer (CML), the device provides a secure, intuitive connection and a dry disconnection that reduces exposure to harmful drug residue.
- The ARISURE® Dry Spike Non-Vented’s double seal design allows for secure and safe connections with a variety of IV set spikes. The device’s high flow rate and ease of secure attachment to a bag, bottle, or other semi-rigid container provide a safe, closed system transfer of medication to your patient.
- The ARISURE® Dry Spike Non-Vented is an infusion access device for medication delivery from a bag, bottle, or semi-rigid container to an IV set. The device features the needle-free ARISURE® Neutral Valve for secure transfer of hazardous medications to IV containers while minimizing exposure to hazardous liquid or aerosols by means of a dry disconnection from the ARISURE® Closed Male Luer.
- Key features of the ARISURE® Dry Spike Non-Vented include two independent lumens for drug admixture and patient delivery, respectively. The device provides a high flow rate as well as a pierceable septum that creates a dry connection for an administration set.
