The normal pH of urine is slightly acidic and gives a reading between 6.5-7.5. If the urine is on the alkaline side, the readings should correspond to colors indicating 7.5 or higher. Acidic urine gives color corresponding to 6.5 or lower. Please note that pH of urine is affected by the food and medication intake.
