- Select by compound and thickness
- Tabor Abrasion – how well the surface withstands wear; the less weight lost the more durable the product (based on Federal Standard 191/1000g, CS-17 wheel; percentage lost refers to amount lost at 1000 cycles)
- Coefficient of Friction – degree of traction provided (OSHA recommends .5 in dry areas), based on ASTM F1677
- Compression Deflection - the softness or comfort leve (ideal range is considered .20-.50); measured by percentage or inches @ 35 psi (Ψ)
