The new ENFit® connector standard (ISO 80369-3) for enteral feeding devices is a welcomed feature for mitigating potential misconnections. IMI is pleased to introduce a tamper evident cap for ENFit syringes that further enhances patient safety. These innovative caps help guard against drug diversion and misuse from the time the syringe leaves the pharmacy until the time it is dispensed.
- Tampering is immediately evident when the colored outer sleeve is detached or missing.
- The tamper evident cap can not be reinstalled after removal.
- The tamper evident cap is compatible with BOTH Standard and Low Dose ENFit syringes.
